Project 1: Forum Discussion (Individual)
Getting into the group of only five people for the individualistic choice of the type of architecture, my group had been assorted into a type of architecture callled Palladianism. It's a architecture based on the hybrid-revival of Greek and Roman architecture by Andrea Pallladio. To start it off, a forum discussion had been made, and each of the member of our group were assigned to different sections of the assignent. My particu;ar assesment is finding and discussing the materials and methods of the construction of VILLA BARBALO.

Q5: What material or methods are used for this construction?
During times of economic depression, an architect, Andrea Palladio was well known for skilled and conducive use of economical materials . Somehow, he would a way to equate those materials with something else affordable that has the same magnificience . For example, in Venice, it is normal for any architectural grandeur to have made from stone clad with marble from Istria. But in the case of Villa Barbaro, he substituted these with bricks clad in stucco. In fact, the predominant materials for this building are bricks with stucco. Stucco as we should know, is a fine plaster used for decoration and provides a hard covering for walls and pillars, both interior and exterior.

After finishing with the group forum discussion, the board presentation of the Villa Barbaro, by Andrea Palladio. LIke the previous assignment, each member of the group is assigned to each part of the Villla that is to be discussed. For my part, I had to do further research on the circulation of the building (light, wind, air and even the flow of the visiting people). The significange of each of these type of circulations on the parts of the villa had to be explained with details, including the plan and the cross-sections of the building. Whatever any type of circulation affects each significant part of the villa had to be emphasized with clarity using realistic drawings. Based in that, a concluson had to be made from the assignent. In this case, the light circulation plays the most part in displaying the significance of the villa.

Project 3: Model building of Villa Barbaro.(Group)
After the thorough research and inlook and outlook of the villa, it is time to create the villa itself ourselves. The main criteria, is the material used in the model building. We had to use only and only balsa wood. Recreating in detail, the main highlights of the villa(pediment, columns, etc). using the knowledge that we ammased during the first two assignment, we build it according to the rules and limits of the measurements. Each member of the group were assigned to building the parts of the villa. It was domne in a period of just a few days. After all was done, we presented our assessment on PALLADIANISM during our very last assignment, that is, presentation of the villa using the balsa wood model and the board presentation we made during the last assignment. All the time limit was utilized to explain the significance of each part of the building constructed, using our boards put together.

Reflections.
The assesments throught the entire semester has been a great journey overall. Not only do I get to learn the history leading to old architectures, but also able to explore them, including Palladianism with the others. This has given me the oppertunity to work with them to recreate Villla Barbaro. The intricate use of the balsa wood had also heightened. I have to thank my friends and Ms.Norhaayati for giving me the oppertunity to experience the peak of craftsmenship.
